Thanks to Dennis Hatch in his article on Super Bowl Critics. In it, he proclaims that of all the Super Bowl ads, only Sales Genie’s had a chance of measurable success by their irresistable offer….
What I saw was another story…
If you’ve read my earlier posts, you’ll see that Sales Genie has been promising 100 free leads for quite some time now. The problem was that in order to get your “Free” leads, you had to provide a valid credit card.
THREE CHEERS for Sales Genie… because in Dennis’ article, he points out that you no longer need a credit card to claim your 100 free leads.
BRAVO SALES GENIE!
Obviously, someone at Info USA was paying attention to log files. Or maybe not….
Because today I got an email telling me that I had to “act soon” if I wanted to collect my free leads without giving up my credit card info.
I get putting a deadline on an offer… it raises response rates exponentially. What I don’t get is slapping the credit card info onto a free offer. EWWWW!!!!
It’s sleazy. It makes it look like Sales Genie is a lead GATHERING machine instead a lead SALES machine.
